Metal-casing fittings

Homogenous material PP-R 80
All the pipes and fittings of the POLO-POLYMUTAN hot & cold water piping programme are made of polypropylene. This is using only top-quality grades of PP granules. This material stands out for its durability, high temperature resistance and its enormous resistance to corrosion, pitting, leaching and mechanical abrasion.

A WATERTIGHT JOIN
Measured against conventional fittings, the polypropylene-to-metal join created by POLO-POLYMUTAN’s metal fittings is distinguished by 100% watertightness. The PP-R / metal join effortlessly withstands decades of constant use. Also, the metal-parts of the fittings provide a sturdy contact surface for the pipe wrench to act on. Even in the case of short sections, it is virtually impossible to overtighten these fittings.
