Current references for POLO-KAL NG
In 2011, POLO-KAL was used in the "Musiktheater Linz (Musical Theatre Linz)", Upper Austria.
High quality and safety were of topmost priority in this construction. The waste water drainage of all sanitary facilities and the downpipes were made of POLOPLAST's (highly) sound insulating pipe systems POLO-KAL NG and POLO-KAL 3S. A total length of approximately 1,000 m of POLO-KAL NG and POLO-KAL 3S were laid.
The application range of siphonic roof drainage now comprises huge roof surfaces of chain food shops, building supplies' shops, industrial workshops and buildings that were equipped with POLO-UDS, POLOPLAST's siphonic roof drainage system.
Current examples for the application of POLOPLAST's siphonic roof drainage system are the 15,000 m² roof surface of the Trox GmbH company, Germany, and the building project of the Essen Fair, Germany, with its 27,000 m² roof.

The major advantage of POLO-UDS is that the components need not be welded. The push-fit system, the precise shape of the components, the factory-fitted lip seal ring of POLO-KAL NG and the extraction-proof connection POLO-ASV make assembly quick and accurate. The push-fit system helped to rule out any waiting time for welds, as well as the dependence on worksite energy supply.
For Controlled housing ventilation POLO-KAL NG is mainly used in passive houses.
The envelopes of energy-efficient buildings become more and more impermeable so that controlled housing ventilation systems combined with geothermal heat exchangers can no longer be dispensed with. Such systems result in the highest residential standards as they provide permanent fresh air supply without any losses on airing.
