Apprentices and
trainees
In order to meet the future demand for new, committed employees, POLOPLAST seeks to provide comprehensive apprentice training and to further its contacts with various apprentice training institutions. The apprentices' training at POLOPLAST is very comprehensive. Apprentices are involved in the entire range of production and quality assurance processes and are taught very comprehensively. The apprentice training consists of the following elements:

In-house
training
Comprises theoretical training at vocational schools, as well as practical in-house training.

Parallel to in-company training, apprentices are individually supported through additional training courses.

Young
Spirit
The aim of Young SPIRIT is to support apprentices during their entire apprenticeship, to accompany them and to encourage team development.

The Young SPIRIT programme accompanies and supports apprentices during their entire apprenticeship. For the duration of their training, the apprentices are given an experienced sponsor, who acts as their immediate contact. Once or twice a year, apprentice workshops are held, where apprentices from both plants work together with representatives of the personnel development department on various topics, such as "work and health", or "SPIRIT and values", do joint activities that intend to further the networking between apprentices.
