Our in-house materials development department continuously develops, tries, tests and produces samples based on new ideas. Apart from development equipment, which is quite close to the serial equipment used for production purposes, this department is also endowed with modern laboratory and highly qualified engineers, so research and development is conducted at the highest level.

In addition to the company headquarters in Leonding, POLOPLAST has a branch in France.
POLOPLAST is 100%-owned by WIG Wietersdorfer Holding GmbH that has its headquarters in Klagenfurt (Austria). Since its foundation in 1893, Wietersdorfer hasbeen in family ownership and works in the cement, lime, building materials and pipes sectors. At present, Wietersdorfer is represented in more than thirty countries in Europe and further afield. Headquartered in the Alps-Adriatic region, almost 3,300 employees are committed to high product quality, innovation and benefits to the customer, while at the same time guaranteeing maximum protection of resources and the environment.
