POLO-ECO plus – Multilayer technology in sewer construction
In recent years, following the strategy „Innovation – Internationalisation – Competence“, POLOPLAST has emerged as the leading company for plastic pipe systems, compounding and polymer engineering, and has established itself as international provider of plastic pipe systems.

The requirements placed upon pipe systems in the sphere of public sanitary engineering have increased significantly in recent years. High-pressure cleaning, aggressive types of waste water, flow gradients in the parts per thousand range as well as shallow installation depths necessitate a comprehensive profile of properties in the pipe systems.

POLO-ECO plus, the multi-layer mineral-reinforced sewage pipe system made from polypropylene meets these requirements particularly well:

• Exterior layer: Protection from exposure to weather and mechanical loads
• Core layer: Vast resistance capacity, strength and rigidity combined with superior toughness
• Interior layer: Chemical resistance, abrasion resistance, impact resistance, light-coloured interior surface facilitates TV inspection, prevention of incrustation

During the development of POLO-ECO plus PREMIUM particular attention was devoted to achieving high longitudinal stability. A specially developed PP-blend outer layer reduces the thermal absorption rate of POLO-ECO plus PREMIUM and provides the product with optimal axial dimensional stability.
This is a factor that is of utmost importance for the laying of pipes on a shallow incline, specifically at elevated outdoor temperatures.
