POLOPLAST is taking the leading trade fair for pipe construction, WASSER BERLIN INTERNATIONAL 2013, as an opportunity to present the attractive civil engineering range of products. Innovations from the trend-setting 3-layer sewage pipe system POLO-ECO plus PREMIUM feature prominently, as does the cleaning pipe POLO-EHP control.

As a highlight, the POLOPLAST presentation includes the tried and tested range of pipes and fittings belonging to the sewage pipe system POLO-ECO plus PREMIUM 12 – which has been extended to include the dimension DN 630! In this dimension, as in all others, POLOPLAST places particular emphasis on the 3-layer technology with an extra measure of longitudinal stability, and offers buyers and planners enhanced application possibilities while providing maximum reliability.

The 3-layer sewage pipe has been tailored to meet the stringent demands in modern sewerage construction and it consequently ensures both straightforward installation and reliability in operation. POLO-ECO plus PREMIUM 12 offers enhanced reliability and superior performance when installed at gradients in the parts per thousand range.

Due to the 3-layer construction of the intermediate pipe layer, which is reinforced with magnesium silicate, the system manages to operate under increased loads, while the wall thickness remains constant. In the course of development particular attention was paid to high longitudinal stability. An external layer made of a specially developed PP-blend reduces the thermal absorption rate and provides the product with optimal dimensional accuracy in an axial direction. This is of crucial significance in cases where the installation conditions for the pipes include minor gradients but elevated exterior temperatures.

With the cleaning pipe for the sewage pipe system POLO-ECO plus PREMIUM, POLOPLAST once again proves its competence for innovative problem solutions.
The range was extended and now offers enhanced application possibilities in the dimensions DN 110 to DN 500. POLO-EHP control allows the straightforward maintenance, inspection and cleaning of pipework – conforming to the system, it is made from polypropylene.

Featuring many clever details, the pipe ducting system POLO-RDS evolution guarantees simple, safe and leak-proof wall ducts for cables and pipes up to DN/OD 250.

Customised to meet the requirements on construction sites, the pipe ducting system POLO-RDS evolution provides an impressive performance due to its ease of laying and reliability in use. The system uses a standard installation length of 30 cm. Integrated tear-off elements allow the ribbed pipe to be easily shortened for standard walls measuring 20 and 25 cm thickness, without the need for cutting tools. Where the wall thickness exceeds 30 cm, an extended ribbed pipe can be used. Nail holes in the flange ensure quick and precise assembly and guarantee that the element is optimally fastened and braced in the formwork.

In existing buildings, a wall opening can be established at a later stage by core hole drilling. The sealing elements are tailored to the diameters of commercially available drill bits. The pressed-in rubber seal creates a seal directly against the concrete cut section. By sealing the pores in the cut section of the core hole drilling, the impermeability of the concrete is achieved.
