On the 5th of March, "POLO-CLIP HS" was one step ahead

26 optimally designed products were submitted to the panel at the first "Plastics & Design" competition, which was initiated by the Network Design & Medien (NDM) Plastics Cluster (KC) of Clusterland Upper Austria GmbH. This was a result that pleased the organisers immensely! The most innovative products were presented with an award on the 5th of March 2009, at the specialist conference on the topic „Optimally Designed Plastics Products“ in Salzburg. POLOPLAST GMBH & CO.KG emerged as winner with its submitted product POLO-CLIP HS. POLO-CLIP HS is a fastening system for POLOPLAST above-ground drainage pipes. It features a high level of noise insulation, ruggedness, good haptics, simple assembly and a high recognition level due to a strong design.

The KC jury spokesman, who awarded the prizes, had the following to say about the submitted objects: "All products feature a high degree of functionality, innovation and design. On the one hand this illustrates the diversity of possible applications of the material, and on the other hand it showcases the considerable innovative strength of the participating companies, who fully understand how to optimise the advantages of this material!"
