POLOPLAST: POLOPLAST: POLO-ECO plus PREMIUM Sewage Pipe System in Renowned Building Projects
The 3-layered sewage pipe system POLO-ECO plus PREMIUM featuring increased longitudinal stability and the innovative TOP-CONNECT sealing system has well established itself for piping in public hydraulic structures and guarantees unproblematic laying and reliable operation.
POLO-ECO plus PREMIUM is available with ring rigidity values ≥12kN/m² and ≥10 kN/m². The specially developed PP-Blend outer layer reduces the degree of thermal absorption and provides for the high stability in axial dimensions of the product. This is a decisive criterion for laying pipes on slight gradients, particularly at increased outside temperatures.
A recent example for the use of POLO-ECO plus PREMIUM is the construction of the Town gallery in Schwaz (Stadtgalerien Schwaz). For this project a total of 2,500 running metres of POLO-ECO plus PREMIUM 12 in the dimensions from 100 to 400 were laid. Meanwhile, also specialised installations use POLO-ECO plus PREMIUM, for example the Aquaculture Installation of Xeis in the Gesäuse Nature Reserve. An aquacultural installation comprising eight fir basins for alpine salmon farming was built here. For the gravity-flow piping of this project approximately 1,100 running metres of POLO-ECO plus PREMIUM 12 in the dimensions from 110 to 500 were laid. Another example is a constructed wetland with approximately 300 running metres of POLO-ECO plus PREMIUM and around 350 running metres of POLO-KAL NG pipes. Among others, the very demanding nature conservation regulations led to the converter's decision to use POLO-ECO plus PREMIUM and POLO-KAL NG. Another important criterion was the suitability of these pipes for conveying drinking water.
In Roanne, France, all sewage pipes of the 38,880-inhabitants City centre were replaced. A total of approximately 3,000 running metres of POLO-ECO plus PREMIUM in the dimensions from 110 to 500 were laid here.
